About the department
Management Department aims to be a pioneer in providing high quality education in the management discipline both regionally and internationally in line with the vision of the College of Business Administration and King Saud University.
The Management Department reinforces the mission of the College of Business Administration and King Saud University in its teaching, research, and community services. The mission of the Department is to prepare students, who ought to have outstanding knowledge, skills, and competencies in Management field to meet the challenges of global business environment; to facilitate the advancement of faculty members in their efforts in teaching, research; and to build effective partnerships with businesses and academic communities towards its contribution for building the Saudi knowledge society.
The Management Department is aspiring to achieve the following goals and objectives:
-To offer quality-oriented academic program in Management discipline
-To deliver courses contents through effective and innovative teaching
methods
-To develop the scholarship of faculty members through activresearch and publication

Marketing
The marketing function has become one of the important functions for any profit-making project, whether it is a commercial, industrial, or service project. In fact, since the 1970s, marketing activities have become among the basic activities of any non-profit organization, whether they are governmental organizations (service ministries) or non-profit civil society organizations such as charities.
Marketing is a science and art that is related to all the marketing research and studies that organizations need that precede the production of a good or service. This is with the aim of identifying the needs and desires of the target audience, and it also has a relationship with all the organization’s activities that follow the production of the good or service, such as: promotion activities, distribution activities, development and design activities of the product, and pricing activities.
Marketing is the cornerstone of the success of any organization, as most of the concerns of the marketing function are originally directed to caring for the customer, serving him, and working to satisfy him. The importance of the role that marketing plays in preserving the organization's customers has clearly emerged, especially in the era of globalization and the educated consumer who is aware of the options before him and intense competition.
King Saud University has realized the necessity of establishing a marketing department within its development plans. The marketing path was changed from being part of the Department of Business Administration to an independent department within the departments of the College of Business Administration, hoping from God Almighty for help and success in achieving the goals and aspirations of this department.

Vision :
To be the most effective part in maintaining college leadership in business education and its learning outcomes.
Mission:
To enhance the continuous development processes and improve the quality level at the college in order to maintain college leadership in business education, scientific research, and community services.
Goals and objectives:
1-Improve the quality processes at the college:
1, 1 To disseminate the quality concept among the college faculty members, students, and administrative staff at the college.
1, 2 To set the necessary plans for the improvement of quality processes at the college in collaboration with the stakeholders.
1, 3 To Document all the researches, educational and administrative work, and activities and events held at the college.
1, 4 To apply new technology in educational and training processes and provide all the necessary equipment and facilities for that.
1, 5 Continuous measurement and assessment for all the educational and administrative processes at the college.
2-Achieve the college excellence:
2, 1 To apply the national and international quality standards on the educational processes for the academic programs.
2, 2 To encourage creative and professional work.
3- Leave a positive impact on the business field:
3, 1 To support all the exerted effort to establish professional and academic relationships and partnerships.

طلاب وطالبات كلية إدارة الأعمال
إن من أحد الركائز المهمة في جامعة الملك سعود وكالة الشؤون التعليمية والأكاديمية والتي من خلالها يتم دعم العملية التعليمية وإنشاء بيئة أكاديمية متميزة مما يعد امتدادًا لرؤية ورسالة جامعة الملك سعود والتي تصب في تحقيق رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية (2030). ومن الخدمات التي تقدمها وكالة الشؤون التعليمية والأكاديمية لدعم الطلاب والطالبات خلال مسيرتهم الجامعية في كلية إدارة الأعمال على سبيل المثال لا الحصر تطوير البرامج والخطط الدراسية ، إرشاد الطلاب والطالبات ومساعدتهم في مواجهة التحديات ، تشجيع الطلاب والطالبات على تفعيل الأندية الطلابية.
كما نؤكد على أهمية دور وكالة الشؤون التعليمية والأكاديمية في بناء حلقة وصل بين طلابنا وطالباتنا مع منسوبي الكلية والجامعة. بالإضافة إلى ضرورة الاطلاع على اللوائح الطلابية والخدمات المختلفة لزيادة وعي الطلاب بحقوقهم ومسؤولياتهم.
