Business Unit

Vision:

Being a pioneer, locally and regionally, in offering consulting services in administrative sciences, including Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Quantitative Methods, and Marketing.

 

Mission:

Cooperating and achieving community partnerships between the College of Business Administration at King Saud University and both public and private sectors. This collaboration aims to elevate skills, cultivate knowledge, and strengthen mutual cooperation.

 

Goals:

-Creating a liaison for interested parties in both public and private sectors to access the expertise of College of Business Administration faculty members.

Facilitating the delivery of research, consulting, training, and educational services in collaboration with the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies and relevant university authorities.

-Leveraging the capabilities and resources of the College of Business Administration to increase the university financial revenues.

-Enhancing the connections between the College of Business Administration and public/private sectors to support the achievement of the unit's goals and tasks.

 

Scope of Work:

-Oversee the administrative and financial procedures of the training programs, consulting services, and research services provided by the college, and follow up with the disbursement procedures with related entities within and outside of the university.

-Supervise the administrative and financial procedures for the college executive and ongoing academic programs and follow up with the disbursement procedures with related entities within and outside of the university.

-Support the college's attainment of financial revenues within university regulations and laws, in coordination with the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies, and provide developmental proposals to enhance and promote alternative investments in the college.

-Support signing cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding between the university and governmental and private entities, within the College's areas of specialization, and in adherence to the regulations set forth by the university.

 

Accomplishments:

-Contribute to the conclusion of several cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding between the university and several governmental and private entities in the college fields of specialization. 

-Developing faculty members database with a focus on specializations and research and advisory interests in cooperation with the Statistics and Information Unit.

-Support, coordinate and supervise the preparation of technical and financial offers by the college's employees for the projects referred by the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies.

-Support, coordinate, and supervise the College's faculty requests for purchasing tenders from the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies. 

-Establish standardized templates for the administrative and financial procedures of the executive and ongoing programs implemented in the College.

-Assist in marketing for the regular, executive, and continuous programs, as well as the consulting services offered by the college, for them to reach the targeted audience and beneficiaries
