Course Description

The Purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the modern concepts and quantitative methods and the most important applications in the field of production operations management. And making them familiarize with the policy, forecasting and planning, as well as demand planning, energy and inventory control, So that they can manage production activity and operations by using quantitative and qualitative analysis  tools, Allowing them to get more opportunities in  business & industrial organizations as well as service providing organizations. This course deals with studying important topics in production management and some methods of operations research that serve this field therefore the course covers introduction in production management and productivity policy Forecasting techniques, and the study of the production capacity, and planning of aggregate demand, how to determine the project location, Control over the project, Quality and inventory management
