Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration - Management Information Systems Track
Program introduction:
KSU CBA is proud of the Ph.D. in Business Program, the first business doctoral program in the Arabian Peninsula. Its rigorous course of study aims to prepare future faculty, researchers, and business leaders for challenging careers. The program offers five majors: management, marketing, finance, accounting, and management information systems. With respect to the current PhD program in Business Administration, with all of its current tracks, more than 10 students graduated in the past five years. Currently, there are about 40 students (both male and females) registered in the PhD program, and distributed in the four tracks.
The Management Information Systems PhD track aims at participating in developing skills by supplying the nation with qualified and dedicated specialists in the Management Information Systems area, closing the gap in the need of specialists with PhD degrees in Management Information Systems from Saudi universities, whether public or private, educating business leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs to increase their organizations competitiveness and improve profitability, and providing higher education opportunities for business administration knowledge seekers in order to become eligible for better jobs in Management Information Systems field.
