Course Description

 

This course teaches the fundamentals of Corporate Governance from a variety of angles; the board of directors, senior management, investors, the media, proxy advisors, regulator and other stakeholders. The course focuses on assessing the effectiveness and execution of governance roles and responsibilities.

Upon completion of this course students shall be able to :

Understand the key issues and players involved in corporate governance.

Focus on assessing the effectiveness of governance roles and responsibilities.

Understand the strengths and blind spots by recognizing the implications of behaviors and  actions, and developing skills for addressing difficult governance situations.

Students will also be exposed to the latest global issues with regard to corporate governance.
